Quadro FX 1100

Originally the Quadro was going to be tested in several applications, but CinemaBench showed no improvement from the Quadro, and Discreet's Maya Personal Learning Edition proved incompatible with the benchmarks I had found. This should be cleared up in time for our next graphics card review but for now, I only have Spec Viewperf results available. Since we don't have any other professional cards on hand, and Nvidia requested we not include results from any consumer cards (something I agree with), the testing stable was left quite bare. Since a card has to benchmark against *something* else, I reran Specviewperf in Linux, both the standard IA32/x86 variety and also an install of Gentoo's AMD64 version.

Additional tests are planned for future graphics reviews, and any suggestions are welcomed.

The test rig was originally planned to be rather different, with an MSI Master2-FAR and two Opteron 246 CPUs. Unfortunately, some last minute irregularities cropped up which appear to be specific to the MSI board. Since I have a very similar MSI K8T Neo here, I was able to use that, instead. Hopefully the issue seen with the MSI dually's AGP will be fixed in an upcoming BIOS revision, and the Neo's performance should be very similar.
