Intel Xeon Chip Upgrades Come as Corporate Spending Improves

As the recession comes to an end for most IT firms, an increase in projects will begin for 2010. Just as the 2010 year kicks off, Intel is back with more server goodness. The company has their eyes set on the Xeon processor with the 32nm process. The Westmere core will offer low power consumption and improved performance over the 45nm Nehalem. Included with the Westmere is an integrated graphics processor as well as AES technology for security. The processor is expected to hit the market by the 2Q'10.
