Apple Releases Dual-core PPC970MP Powermacs

It looks like Apple has jumped on the dual-core bandwagon.
Enter the dual-core PowerPC G5 processor: one silicon chip with two independent 2.5GHz processor cores. Now take two of those chips and you have the Power Mac G5 Quad, for groundbreaking quad-core processing.
Other changes to the Powermac line include a new new graphics, new memory controller, added PCIe, and, of course, the larger cache (per core) dual-core processors.
