Zdnet is reporting that AMD is planning on dubbing its next processor (Palamino), the Athlon 4. Let's step back and look at this for a second. Ok, no Athlon 2... or 3 for that matter. Jumping directly to 4. Marketing at its best, the reasoning behind this seems simple enough; Pentium 4 ... Athlon 4. You can read more over here. The processor had better smoke... |
