CLIBench Mk III SMP 0.7.7

A short while ago the forums were alive with benchmarks derived from CLIBench. This utility, while small, seems to be able to gauge reasonable numbers through sevaral different types of CPU and FPU tests. Recently SMP support has been attained, so that makes it even more relevant.

The CLIBench homepage has a results database and downloads for Win32 x86 and Alpha AXP, as well as the C++ source. A Linux version is apparently in the works, so stay tuned for that. Check their forums for feedback and problem reporting.

I've also found that it's a good disk throughput/cpu utilization test. Low speeds and high cpu usage can indicate that UDMA isn't enabled on ATA33/66 systems, likewise high throughput and low cpu results mean you're in good shape.
