Cluster anyone?

Ooooh, Thinking about SMP gets me excited enough, then I start thinking about a 32 NT or Unix cluster and I get weak in the knees. Veritas Software Corp. has released new software that can fail over applications on as many as 32 Windows NT or Unix Servers and across dispersed geographic locations.
Veritas Cluster Server also enables IT departments to monitor and manage up to 256 clusters running NT, Solaris and HP/UX from a single Java-based console, officials said.
Clustering technology has really taken off and the scaleability it provides makes it a viable option for a lot of large server farms running a single large application. Check out the rest of the article over at Zdnet.
