Dual FC-PGA Hack

Well, the boys over at Ars Technica have some new information on the Dual Coppermine question. Here's a clip:
Now that we've established that, in spite of indications to the contrary on Intel's FC-PGA docs, a dual FC-PGA configuration is possible, it looks like a Japanese site may have figured out a hack that lets you build a dual FC-PGA machine yourself. This thread on a Japanese BBS, called the Dual Celeron Board, contains a discussion of hacking an MSI 6950 Master Slotket and a P6B40DA5 mobo to use dual Coppermines. Some of the posts are translated from Japanese into English, and are a bit cryptic, so we're still trying to figure out exactly what's going on here. I'm keeping a close eye on this hack, as is Diego over at PGA370.com. When we get more word on the details we'll be sure to let you know. A big thank you to Andrew F. for tipping me off to this one.
