Mediation fails... What's next for Microsoft?

The judge gave them extra time in hopes of a settlement, but talks between Microsoft and the Justice Department have been called off.
The spotlight now shifts to the courtroom of Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson. The judge is expected later this week to issue his conclusions of law in the case, a prepatory step to delivering penalties against Microsoft if the company is found in violation of antitrust laws.
It is widely expected Jackson will rule against Microsoft.
