Onboard vs. Controller card SCSI!

This is an interesting comparison. Planet Hardware has taken the time to investigate an interesting topic. Which is better, onboard SCSI, or controller card SCSI?
While choosing between getting on-board SCSI or a separate controller card, one of the considerations you'll have is how the feature sets differ between the two types of products. In this article, we've decided to take a look at two very similar products, the AIC 7892 chipset and the 29160 controller card, both manufacturered by Adaptec. Off the bat, both of these products provide solid Ultra160 support, as well as backwards compatibility with the other SCSI protocols.
Interesting, check it out!
