RMA Nightmare!
Posted on: 10/17/2000 08:28 PM

Brace yourselves, incoming rant. This happens to me far too often. I'm forced to RMA a key component of my main workstation. You contact the manufacturer, they're nice, speedily give you your swanky RMA number and you send off the product (air mail, thinking you'll get it back that much sooner). "You can expect a 2-3 week turnaround sir!" <-- famous last words.

Ahh yes, this is what I was told by Asus regarding my Geforce SDR. "3 weeks maximum!". 1.5 months later, I'm still left with no Geforce love. I call them, and what song and dance am I given? "Oh my, we haven't even processed that yet sir. I'll try to get that out today." Dismay, anger, depression... You all should drop them a line and complain. Customer Service? What's that? I've started a thread in the forums. Please take a spin over there and tell us your RMA experiences. Maybe one of you can restore my faith in humanity.
