SP1 = Windows 2000 Holy Grail?

Hurray we got our Service Pack! Zdnet posted a little article today discussing the significance of Service Pack 1's release. Many large corporations were advised to hold off on the switch to Windows 2000 until this Service Pack was released.
SP1, unlike many of Microsoft's previous OS service packs, includes no new features -- only fixes and patches. Microsoft has categorized SP1 as "recommended," not "required." It provides fixes in the areas of setup, hardware and software compatibility, reliability and security.
According to Microsoft, they sold 3 million copies of Windows 2000 by early June. If you haven't yet gotten around to grabbing the SP, you'll find it here. You can check out the rest of the article here.
