AMD Releases Opteron 6100 Series Processors For Server Market

While some people are snuggling with their mates, Advanced Micro Devices is back into the game launching new series of server products. The company is introducing the 6100 series Opteron processor. The features include 12 and 8 cores, upto 1.5MB of cache and Retro socket compatible.
6132HE runs at 2.2Ghz with 8 cores.
6140 runs at 2.6Ghz with 8 cores.
6166HE runs at 1.8Ghz with 12 cores.
6176 runs at 2.3Ghz
6180SE runs at 2.5Ghz
The processors will be available before 2Q. Check out the blurb here.

6140 runs at 2.6Ghz with 8 cores.
6166HE runs at 1.8Ghz with 12 cores.
6176 runs at 2.3Ghz
