Atom gets first ride in HP's CPU-agnostic server

While many will know Hewlett Packard for their robust Xeon and Opteron powered servers. The company is also looking at another segment with Energy Efficient servers featuring the Intel Atom processors based on Centerton. Centerton is a Dual Core 64-bit, 6w SoC (System on Chip). The Gemini server system will house both Atom and the soon to be, ARM based SoC. Gemini will be focused on edge applications such as Web servers and hosting servers.
