Ain't it Nifty, we've hit Fifty!

Posted by: Jim on: 11/19/2001 05:16 PM [ Print | 13 comment(s) ]

That's right sports fans, in the epic battle of RC5 crunching Team 2CPU has finally achieved what once was considered impossible, the 50th spot overall.

We've spilt blood, tears and clock cycles during our valiant run and it feels wonderful to have reached this plateau enroute to the top of the crunching mountain.

If you -haven't- joined our humble team yet, why not? All the cool geeks are doing it. :-)

Too bad the next team to pass is Team Canada....

There might be some mutiny in our "Canadian filled" team.

WOW, that's great. I've only been onboard a week and the 2CPU teams been doing great, I guess I picked a good team :)

I added another two machine today, so now I'm contributting:
8.7 Ghz, with more on the way.

Too bad Team Canada's next... I hate going against my own :(

I clicked on the join this team link, and was prompted for a pswd/usr?

I guess I am too dumb to figure out how to join.

I love the 2cpu team I am ussually in the #6-8 spot for the day. But I am so far from number one it is not even funny. Even still some of these guys have some serious power. Currently a little under half of my blocks are down by my dual athlon xp.

It seems that in the next 6 months this thing should be solved. Unless the key i in the last 25% of the key space. If it is in the last 5-10% that is just dumb.

Well, I just joined, and it's my first join, so you get all my blocks I've been workin' on for the last 3 years.
