While some operating systems focus on eye candy and widgets, Apple is hard at work on their latest operating system, Snow leopard and something called, GCD. Grand Central Dispatch. Grand Central Dispatch is a component of the new Snow Leopard OS that is supposed to ease the use of thread scheduling for multiple cores.
