Dubbed the Special Edition Formula Red XPS M1710, this laptop comes with the nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics chipset and the fastest Intel Core Duo processor available. The system's TrueLife 17-inch high-contrast widescreen display brings life to games and provides bright and lovely movie images. The M1710 has six USB ports, plus a FireWire port, but lacks a TV tuner. Its performance is blazing, but demands plenty of juice, and its short (2.5 hours) battery life reflects that reality.
