I decided to dig around and get some random newsage for all you SMPers out there.
- Linux Lookup has a review of Suse 8.0 posted for the Linux faithful. I've never been a big fan of Suse, but that's because Slackware has filled the void for me for quite awhile now.
- Mikey is telling us that big cache P3 Xeons are faster than their P4 counterparts in 4-way configurations. What they don't tell us is what they're faster in. Anything overly cache intensive (Database serving for instance) would probably prefer the ample, fast cache on the Pentium III 900/2MB. Check it out.
- Audiogalaxy may be under fire from the RIAA (Is that like the NRA? :-P). Ahhh lawsuits over music, what a new and refreshing concept.
- E3 is in the news. I wouldn't mind swinging by that one of these years, even though I'm not much of a gamer anymore. I'd just like the opportunity to track down these individuals and wax philosophic with them for a few minutes.
That is all. You can now go back to yourboring existences uhh... other stuff.
UPDATE: For those of you who lack a sense of humor, I should add that my above comment is a -joke-. I don't feel that your existences are boring at all. In truth, I don't think about your lives one little bit as I'm really quite self-absorbed. (Yes, I received a rather scathing email from an individual who was so upset by my remarks he made some "lovely" comments about me, my girlfriend, my website, etc, etc. Wooo.)

Not suprised at all about the Xeon story ... Once again we've saved civilization as we know it. And the good news is, they're not gonna prosecute! |

I'd tell him to shinny up a tree. But then again, I can get sued for that, can't I ... Once again we've saved civilization as we know it. And the good news is, they're not gonna prosecute! |

Upon realizing that I wasn't seriously mocking my readerbase, the gentleman kindly emailed me back apologizing for his remarks. All is well. Alicia reads 2CPU.com several times a day and when she saw my update she called me. We had a good laugh about it anyways. :-) 2CPU.com - Because two are always better than one!
