My feeling is it's kind of like overcloking a CPU, you gotta have a monster heatsink in order to push the CPU.. So I guess it could be said that if the core is getting pushed to the point that it needs super mondo cooling.... there may be a problem with the cores performance... #20596 Posted on: 01/06/2003 08:20 AM When you look at the transistor count of a cpu, and gpu, then compare the size of heatsinks. You have to agree that GPU design is very heat efficent... Nvidia is pushing up agianst some limitations with this design, and needs a larger heat sink... Not a big deal, I think...
