Mark. Thank you Mark. I have something to post (although it is a little boring and lame, but whatever). He noticed over at the HardOCP that SimpleTech has announced 2GB sticks of memory.
Registered and Unbuffered ECC SDRAM Modules In Capacities Up To 2GB Provide Low Profile Upgrades To Solve Space Limitation ProblemsHe also pointed me to a deal on p3 533EB's which you all might want to jump on. He bought two and they turned out to be cB0's. At 49.99 USD per, that's a decent deal. Way to go Mark... I think.

![]() How'd you know it was me? Yeah, the DIMM thing is kinda lame but I've been scouring sites in languages I don't even understand, nothing. PIII's are OEM's S spec SL3XS/1.65v so I'm betting they're cB0's. |

![]() Hey yea if they're SL3XS, they are cB0. http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p3p.htm I find this DIMM thing interesting. Anyone have any clue what MB will support them? How 'bout the Serverworks chipset mobos? |

![]() I checked out ServerWorks site and it looks like HE-SL would do it... "The design accommodates up to six registered DIMMs with capacities of 64 Megabytes through 2 Gigabytes, for a system maximum of 12 GBytes..." |

![]() If they're SL3XS, 4x133 FSB, go over 4x160 FSB (with lucky) may possible. Every Overcloker must own one to pair with Abit BE6_II or pair with EPOX_6BX as an overclock-tool for checking your Dram's overclok capabilities. EC |

![]() I just had to get in on that deal. I ordered the two Procs, some HSFs and fans from OCZ and the ECS D6VAA from AxionTech all for under $200 shipped. Seems like a pretty good deal for my fourth duallie MB combo. Come to think of it, I still haven't even setup my third now that I have all the parts here for it. Oh well. Now I just need a deal on some ram that'll handle 150-160MHz FSB. Preferably 256-512MB of it. |

![]() Are there any other chipsets that can handle this? I'm guessing the good old 'BX' doesn't have a chance huh? damn ![]() |

![]() Pricewatch has listed 2GB DIMMS for Compaq Proliant servers for a couple months now. They also list 4GB DIMMs for IBM RS/6000's. |

Yea, but they are probably double height - as in 32 memory chips on one of those DIMMs. I think the big deal here is these are 2GB Low Profile, so 1U servers could be outfitted with them. 8GB in a 1U is a reality now. |
