HighPoint Technologies, the worldwide leader in providing multi-channel SATA II RAID Controllers announces that the RocketRAID 2320 PCI Express SATA II RAID Controller supports Apple Dual-Core Power Mac G5 systems.
The RocketRAID 2320 PCI Express SATA II RAID controller is the perfect compliment to the Apple Dual-Core Power Mac G5. By delivering the highest performing data transfers rates approaching 2GB/s (2000MB/s) the RocketRAID 2320 is the ideal choice for (SD) Standard Definition and (HD) High Definition Video Editing environments.
The RocketRAID 2320 PCI Express controller supports a variety of advanced RAID levels including RAID (0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and JBOD) and fully supports the Serial ATA 2.5 specification. Advanced features in the RocketRAID 2320 include Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Online Capacity Expansion and Online RAID Level Migration (OCE/RLM). These benefits of these features will maximize storage investments while improving storage utilization. Other capabilities of the RocketRAID 2320 include SAF-TE chassis management support, S.M.A.R.T. disk monitoring and staggered drive spin up.
