man!! .... this will just simply never end. just got my HP XW9300 - dual Opteron 250 - with dual quadro fx 3450 SLI. was happy for a second, then .... schmaaacckkk!!!! hitting my head with a basebal bat, after seeing the SPEC numbers. what a config!!!! um... i dunno... this post just doesn't seem right. yes, it is the new fastest graphical workstation setup... but it seems more like a marketing plug to me. if anyone puts the latest workstation graphics (especially in SLI) in a reasonably fast machine wouldn't the same truth hold? i would be more appreciative if the box had some unusual custom spec... or if it did this on some remarkable low budget... i think my newegg wishlist machine is just as fast if not faster... sorry... it's been a long day at work. |
