Tyan S2462 Guinness forsale?

Posted by: nitro_fish on: 05/15/2001 09:30 PM [ Print | 7 comment(s) ]

Mr. Mike Magee over at The Inquirer is serving up some more Tyan S2462 Guinness information for our delight.
THE DUAL AMD Palomino board which is causing such excitement in the community is now up for sale at a German site.
The board, which is boringly described as the S2462 rather than its codename, Guinness, is priced at DM1699.

Check it out here.

At the Inquirer they claimed that it would ship in two weeks or so, but at the German site they said (babelfished): Supply within two or more weeks.

I'd like to point out the "or more" part of the schedule. i'd say at least a month. :( I doupt your dad couldn't get you one even if you wanted it, Hanpan.
