Want Abit 760MP? An Update of Sorts...

R.E. Aguirre, like many of you was interested in the status of a 760MP solution from Abit. Instead of sitting around and waiting he dropped them an email. Lester Lau, Marketing Specialist at Abit responded:
"We are still working on a Dual MP version of our motherboard, which initially will be made as a workstation board.Not earth-shattering news, but I'm sure a few of you will appreciate it.
Currently, we are looking at an end of October release."

Just thought I'd mention that cputimes.com had that news up the 4th (Tuesday) that the WA2A wouldn't be available until end of October and updated that to say it would be a server board. Plus they have information on another board that will be coming out this month. |

I understand you wanting dual athlons... but why wait for Abit? ok, you can't overclock with TYAN's boards, but they are at least stable. I personally wouldn't overclock |

you aren't going to fry the processors by overclocking them, so you might as well overclock them at least a little |
