ActiveWin has posted some information about and screenshots of the the latest CTP of Windows Vista. It sure does look pretty, but I'm not entirely convinced that Vista is going to be the be-all/end-all that people are hoping it will be.

its actually rather hideous...why do people think transparency is a GOOD thing? OSX is still by far the best looking out-of-the-box os imo ahh well, im sure there will be some sexy windowblinds addon for it eventually. chasing tokyo girls |

As far as windows goes, I'm a fan of the Win2k look. All the extra crap just gets in the way. A good UI should not even be noticed. If you have to spend enough time looking at it to notice it, it's not doing its job properly. |
